Teriyaki Sauce

1 Cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/4 Cup Fu-Ki Sake (you can use cooking sherry but this is much better)
Garlic, Salt & Pepper to taste
Ground ginger (fresh is ok too) 1/2 tsp.
1 T. finely diced white onion.

Mix well, dissolving sugar.

Marinate chicken or steak for at least six hours, over nite is better.

Note*the Fu-Ki Sake must be bought where liquor is sold
