The Last Will
and Testament of William H. Bee
Is as follows, so read carefully:
"My dear
friends," it starts out, (with a grump and a grin)
"T' you all who were dear to me eart.
To tiny Kim-Ellen to Big Charlie Bob
I here give you my treasure in part:
Ellie, me girl,
you are one of a kind.
My box an' its gold is all yours.
An' to Josh, my grown son, y' got nuttin' t' lose.
T' ya I bequeath all my moors
And they, true to my word, will bring
Many a piece o' gold.
For the soil, brown an' rich as can be
Shall bring you much if it's sold.
To Lu, my gold pixies, to Georgie, my links,
To Mary, th' chest in my drawer.
To tiny Pete James, my nice model ships,
And to Gomery, the key to my door.
But t' ol' Charlie Bob, my brother, my heart,
To him I give this prop note.
For this is the key t' my treasure an' spirit:
Trick I must! -- This be only a joke!"
